A very simple 4-step tying test. A dialog box pops up. You type what you see exactly. If you leave something out, type something incorrectly, or add something that shouldn't be there; you'll be told to retype that sentence. Length of the tests range from a sentence to a short paragraph. Includes words, numbers, and punctuation. After all 4 tests, you're given your score in Words per Minute. This is probably a poor indication of actual typing speed since you have to mouse-click on OK to start and end each test.
To install, open WPM.DOT then double-click on "install". Install will copy the WPM macro to your NORMAL.DOT template. You may need to tell install that your normal.dot is located in \Winword\template rather than \Winword.
